I've just entered my 30s and the D+ lingerie world. I've been wearing ill-fitting bras forever and it's been like a rebirth to find my true size of 28E after all the 34Cs and 32Ds that I went through over the years.
Building up a whole new collection of bras is expensive but I'm 100% convinced it's worth it. Wearing a well-fitting bra makes you feel good both physically and mentally. Win-win situation.

Body shape and how I like to "present" it
I'm between an hourglass and a pear. My hips aren't that wide but most of the extra weight I carry is on my thighs and butt. When I buy clothes, the bottoms are always one (or two) size larger than the tops. I can get away with a FR 36 / UK 8 in dresses that are fitted at the top and looser on the bottom. My favorite kind. So, yay for vintage inspired dresses.
My breasts are a bit bottom heavy, separate and kind of pointing toward the east and the west. The tissue is quite soft. My favorite bras are padded half-cups. They give me a great, rounded and uplifted shape and add a bit of bulk so that my top half balances my bottom half better.
